Bachelor of Science (BSC)

BSC is a four-year undergraduate program covering core science disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. It provides a strong theoretical and practical foundation, preparing graduates for careers in research, healthcare, engineering, and further academic study.

Programme Objective

The objectives of B.Sc. are as follows:

  • To make students well acquainted in the latest ideas, knowledge, invention and the practices in the theoretical and practical aspects of science and technology.
  • To familarize and give direction to students in the research and project works and make them understand its importance and applicability in the field of science.
  • To generate passion and interest in the students regardin gthe further study and continuous learning activities in the field of science and techlology.
  • To provide strong foundation for studentrs to pass the postgraduate level entrance exam and develop efficiency to get employment at national and international leve.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

A student who seeks admission to B.Sc. program:

  1. Should have sucessfully completed +2, ISc, A level or equivalent in science stream or equivalent from any university, board or institution. Students completing +2 should have secured a minimum of C Grade in each subject. Students completing A level should have secured E Grade.
  2. Students opting to study in Biological Group must have completed science stream with 200 full marks of Biology and for Physical Group students must have completed science stream with 200 full marsks of Mathematics.
  3. Should have successfully passed the entrance examination conducted by Institure of Science and Techlology (IOST), TU.
  4. Complied with all the application procedures.
